Battle Ground — Skaters in Battle Ground saw a familiar face last month when professional skateboarder Tony Hawk stopped by the Battle Ground Skate Park.

The legendary pro skater was in town to film a segment for an upcoming movie, according to the city’s Facebook page.

City Councilor Brian Munson and his daughter Ashlyn Munson were nearby and welcomed Hawk to Battle Ground, while posing for a picture with him.
