GRESHAM, Ore. — A man died Friday in an apartment fire in Gresham.
Fire officials in Gresham told KGW-TV that a woman suffered injuries after leaping from a second-story window of the burning apartment.
Officials said the woman threw puppies out the window before leaping herself, and reported that a man remained inside.
Crews made it into the apartment but found the man dead. His name hadn’t been released Saturday.
