Letter: Support Greene for port

By Ray Seal, VANCOUVER
Published: June 23, 2017, 6:00am

I recommend Kris Greene for Port of Vancouver commissioner. Greene is a successful local businessman. As such, he knows how to deal with people to get things done and embrace opportunities to join cooperatively to achieve mutually beneficial goals.

One of these goals is to attract new businesses. He also recognizes that these new businesses must contribute to a safe environment in order to be a good fit for our community.

Greene will lead Vancouver by developing a foundational concept for economic growth. He has the integrity and flexibility needed for leadership in our diverse community.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
