Start of Korean War to be memorialized

Vancouver – A brief ceremony commemorating the start of the Korean War will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday near the helicopter display outside the Veterans Museum, VA Medical Center, 1609 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Building 1819.

The ceremony will include the laying of a wreath by the Korean Society of Vancouver and the KWVA-321 Richard L. Quatier Chapter. A roll call of Clark County veterans listed as POW or MIA and “Taps” will follow.
