Letter: Orange’s integrity good for port

By Tom Lineham, VANCOUVER

A customer can judge the integrity of a business by how the ownership handles complaints. When I had a problem with my car, I took it into Don Orange’s auto business. After his shop serviced my vehicle, something didn’t feel right. So I returned it for another look.

Orange called me. “Tom,” he said, “something went wrong with our work. It is our fault and we are going to fix it at no cost to you.” You don’t see that honesty much anymore.

Orange is an excellent fit for the Vancouver port commission. We need somebody with his integrity and business sense to protect our community’s interests.
