Portland – Portland police say two people died and two were injured in a traffic crash involving a woman with a suspended license and a woman impaired by alcohol.

Sgt. Pete Simpson said a 19-year-old woman driving a BMW on Columbia Boulevard late Wednesday collided with the passenger side of a Mercedes driven by a 29-year-old woman.

The drivers sustained injuries that are not life-threatening. Two young men who were passengers in the Mercedes died in the crash.

Simpson said preliminary information shows the Mercedes driver was intoxicated and the BMW driver has a suspended license.
