East Vancouver — A group of Webelos Scouts earned their First Responder badges on March 8 after visiting Legacy-Go Health Urgent Care in Camas, 3425 S.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Scouts attended an information session in which they received an introduction to the skills and responsibilities of a first responder and covered personal safety and first-aid skills. The First Responder badge is a key requirement in a Webelos’ journey to becoming a Boy Scout. The group was one of six in the Portland-Vancouver area to visit a Legacy-Go Health Urgent Care facility on March 8 to receive first responder training.
