Letter: Port commissioners are failing

By Craig Walker, Camas
Published: March 21, 2017, 6:00am

It is dumbfounding that Port of Vancouver Commissioners Brian Wolfe and Jerry Oliver still prefer oil trains over the concerns of the people they are supposed to represent. They continue to promote their pro-oil agenda at the expense of our citizens and environment.

We needed to clean house in the Clark County council to stop the abuses of David Madore and Tom Mielke.

Maybe now is the time to stop Wolfe and Oliver by moving to a five-member port commission.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
