There’s nothing for families or students to fear after two-month-old threats against Heritage High School made the rounds on social media late Thursday night, a district spokeswoman said.

A student at Heritage High School allegedly made threats against the school two months ago, but screenshots of Snapchats about the threats were making the rounds on social media late Thursday night, district spokeswoman Gail Spolar said Friday.

“It’s been taken care of,” Spolar said. “There’s no threat to students.”

The resurrection of the posts serves as a good reminder that things posted online can forever be shared, Spolar said.

“Nothing ever dies,” Spolar said.

The student is no longer at the school, Spolar said.
