Letter: Column was fun, on target

By Judy Hubbard, VANCOUVER

A response to Don Newell’s letter on May 4, “Column says a whole lot of nothing,” is a must. He criticizes Greg Jayne’s April 30 editorial as taking up space and saying nothing. He unfortunately missed the whole gist of the editorial, which was a humorous parody of the musings of the current president of the United States. It was so obvious that I find it hard to believe that Newell was not able to enjoy the fun even though it is sad and frightening.
