• Certified family nurse practitioner Kristina Schaefer has joined Northwest Medical Associates. A graduate of Washington State University, Schaefer has worked in numerous fields such as urgent care, orthopedics, home health and hospice in California, Alaska, Oregon and Washington. NMA is at 222 N.E. Park Plaza Drive.
• Wells Fargo has added Andres Jimenez as a premier banker at its Fisher’s Landing branch, 19100 S.E. 34th St. in Vancouver, where he has served as branch manager for the past 15 months. Jimenez began his Wells Fargo career in 2010 as a teller, later advancing to become a personal banker. Outside of work, he volunteers with Familias en Accion and as a coach for Special Olympics.

• Two student teams from Washington State University Vancouver’s Carson College of Business were recognized recently for outstanding work through the Business Growth Mentor and Analysis Program. The teams acted as consultants to two local small businesses helping to identify needs such as growth, marketing and accounting.
One team worked with D?j? Vu Consignment of Vancouver and garnered recognition for Outstanding Growth Assessment Project. Team members were Remington Augustine, Eduard Bagnyuk, Xing Xiu Chen, and Heather Huyette. The focus of their work was marketplace analysis and inventory optimization.
