Esther Short — FISH of Vancouver received a new Ford transit cargo van, donated to the nonprofit by the Joyce Miller Owens Charitable Foundation. FISH’s board of directors met with Hilarie Miller and George Ray Jr. of the foundation on May 11 to accept the donation. FISH picks up donations of food from local grocery stores and the Clark County Food Bank to be distributed to families and individuals at FISH’s own pantry. Each year, volunteers distribute approximately 500,000 pounds of food to food insecure clients and partner organizations. For more information, visit www.fishvancouver.org.
