DUTY ASSIGNMENTS

Navy Airman Monica Coelho, a 2014 graduate of Camas High School graduate, works as an aviation structural mechanic on one of the world’s largest warships, the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Aviation structural mechanics’ responsibilities include maintaining all aircraft main and auxiliary hydraulic power systems, and actuating systems and landing gear.

BASIC TRAINING

Members of the Air Force with local ties have recently completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. They are:

Airman Brandon C. Dillon, son of Krystee Dillon and Adam Fritz, of Camas, and a 2016 graduate of Union High School; Airman Landon P. Hall, son of Kelley Kender and Troy Hall, and step-son of Daniel Kender, of Battle Ground, and a 2016 graduate of Battle Ground High School; Airman Tristen M. Hester, son of Glenn Hester Jr. and step-son of Jennifer Hester of Vancouver; and Airman Tyierre A. Zipperian, son of Michelle Clark and husband of Brittney Zipperian, both of Vancouver, and a 2016 graduate of Union High School.
