SUPERINTENDENT’S HIGH SCHOOL ART SHOW — STATE WINNERS

Dixie Anderson, a junior at Battle Ground High School, and Anna Mironyuk, a senior at Ridgefield High School, were state winners in the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s 44th Annual Superintendent’s High School Art Show. Dixie’s winning piece, “Weaved Pot,” and Anna’s “Kitty and Eye,” were chosen for the Judge’s Choice Award.

Dixie and Anna competed locally at the Regional ESD show, where the top judged artworks advanced to the state competition. At the state competition, 15 were named winners and their art pieces will be added to a permanent collection at a state office.

The winning students were honored at a ceremony last Friday in Olympia.
