Ridgefield School District names employee, students of month for October

Ridgefield — At their Oct. 10 meeting, Ridgefield School District officials celebrated the October employee and students of the month. Union Ridge Elementary School’s Nani Mack was named Employee of the Month for her passion in the classroom, as well as her dedication to helping other staffers through new staff Induction and Google classes she teaches each month. Kindergartner Wyatt Bilek was named October’s Student of the Month at South Ridge Elementary School for being a role model to other students.

Union Ridge Elementary School’s Student of the Month is sixth-grader Brady Winter, who takes the time to coach other students to help them understand their assignments. Seventh-grader Cameron Jones was selected as View Ridge Middle School’s honoree because she’s whenever help is needed for setting up, cleaning up or assisting her classmates, she is willing to help out.

Senior Cesar Rojas-Rincon was named Ridgefield High School’s Student of the Month for his work in advanced classes, as well as carrying a 3.9-plus grade point average while participating in cross country and soccer.
