PORTLAND — Authorities say a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 5 in northeast Portland.
The Portland Police Bureau says the woman was walking near an overpass shortly after 1 a.m. when the collision occurred Wednesday. The driver who hit the woman left the scene.
Southbound lanes in that area were closed for hours during the investigation.
