Letter: Peace to shoppers and workers

Black Friday holiday shopping — maybe not. Not for Vancouver Mall if they don’t get workers. I talked recently to a manager of one major store. I couldn’t find but one cashier for the whole floor. I was told they cannot get any workers to stay or pass a drug test or they just walk off. They are supposed to have over 200 extra workers for the whole mall, and as of last week only have about 100.

If anyone really needs work and wants to work, any age, they desperately need help. Tell anyone you know about this. As for me, I’m praying for more workers to help the present workers who will be stretched to their limits helping shoppers.

So when you shop anywhere, give thanks to the workers who facilitate our wants through holiday shopping time. Let’s have happy hearts for all we have; things can change so fast. Peace to all you shoppers.
