Letter: Be proper, protest alone

By Clyde Holloway, Vancouver

Protesters should conduct their protests properly.

My suggestions:

Pick a certain room in your house. Always do this alone. Close the door and windows, and draw the shades. Try to be quiet about it and keep the protest to a maximum of 10 minutes. Make sure there are no flags or religious items of any kind in the room. You don’t want anyone to see or hear you because they may be disturbed or offended. One must be aware of others’ delicate sensibilities.

Now, that’s a proper protest!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
