I’m a veteran. A white veteran. And I admire the NFL players who are taking a knee or sitting during the national anthem as a form of protest. As a military member I’m proud of my part in defending our national security. But who is really defending freedom? I would say it’s the NFL players and anyone else who fights against tyranny.
