Vancouver — The committee, which acts as a liaison between the community and C-Tran Board of Directors, is seeking applicants to fill multiple positions.

Among the open seats for 2018 are: youth/student representative, school administration representative, business community representative, social services representative, fixed-route rider, visually impaired representative, environmental community representative and neighborhood association representative.

The committee provides feedback directly to C-Tran staff on a number of issues and makes recommendations to the C-Tran board.

New members would serve a two-year term beginning in January. The committee meets once per month for about two hours at C-Tran’s administrative office. Members receive a free bus pass/Hop card for as long as they serve on the committee.

Applications are due Oct. 16. More information and an application are at www.c-tran.com/about-c-tran/citizens-advisory-committee.
