An explosive first quarter from Union quarterback Lincoln Victor and company set the stage for 52-8 blowout win over Battle Ground.

Victor had three touchdown passes and a receiving touchdown in the first quarter alone, which ended with Union ahead 35-0. But he wasn’t the Titans’ only hot hand.

Victor caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from Dustin Nettles of a trick play to open the scoring. Braedon Ensley returned a punt 61 yards to give the Titans a 14-0 lead.

Tiernan Stanley then caught touchdowns of 30 and 20 yards before Nettles hauled in a 9-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter.

Victor would tack on a 62-yard strike to Darien Chase in the second quarter. He finished 10 for 13 passing for 194 yards and four touchdowns before taking a seat in the second half.

Battle Ground running back Brock Robinson had 138 rushing yards, 72 of which came on one run late in the fourth quarter.
