What’s open and what’s closed today, Columbus Day:

• FEDERAL OFFICES AND COURTS: Closed.

• BANKS: Check specific banks for details; some are closed.

• MAIL: Post offices closed. The postal unit at Shell, 1605 N.W. Sixth Ave., Camas, is open 5 to 2 a.m. every day of the year. No home delivery except Express Mail.

• STATE OFFICES: Open.

• COUNTY OFFICES AND COURTS: Open.

• COLLEGES: Clark College and Washington State University open.

• GARBAGE: Collection on regular schedule.

• PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Open.

• LIBRARIES: Open.

• BUSES: C-Tran and TriMet operate on regular schedules.

• DRIVER LICENSING: Open.

• VEHICLE LICENSING: Open.

• VEHICLE EMISSIONS: Test station open.

• CLARK PUBLIC UTILITIES: Offices open. For 24-hour customer service, call 360-992-3000. For outages or emergencies, call 360-992-8000.

• FINANCIAL MARKETS: New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and other markets open.

• THE COLUMBIAN: Offices open.
