• Kim Bennett, president and chief executive officer of Visit Vancouver USA, was elected board president of the Destination Marketing Association of the West at the organization’s annual summit in Las Vegas. DMA West is a regional professional association serving more than 150 marketing organizations in the West.

Columbia Credit Union has promoted four employees to vice president positions:

• Joe Dunn will assume the role of vice president of underwriting. He has been with the credit union since 2012 and has for several years been manager of the underwriting department. He is a Camas resident.

• Diane Dunning, with 35 years experience in financial services, was named assistant vice president of lending operations. A Prairie High School graduate, she began her career at Columbia in 2010 as a loan operations supervisor.

• Salmon Creek resident Jeff McLauchlin has been named vice president of network services. He began working as a network architect for Columbia in May 2016 and has 17 years of experience in the information technology field.

• Kristi Muro of Camas was named vice president of talent having been promoted to assistant vice president of recruitment and employee relations prior to this. She has worked for Columbia since 2013.

Pacific Lifestyle Homes, Inc. has promoted Ryan Styger to land acquisition manager. Styger has been with the builder for five years as permit and design manager and as residential design manager. Additionally, Pacific Lifestyle Homes was named by Seattle Business magazine as one of the magazine’s best places to work. Pacific has placed a priority on making employees feel empowered and recently launched an employee wellness program.

Other business

• The Vancouver Clinic has been named one of the best places to work in Oregon and Southwest Washington by The Oregonian. The publication’s 2017 Top Workplaces award recognizes the best 100 workplaces in the region who meet standards for organizational health, and is based on employee surveys regarding workplace culture. Vancouver Clinic is Clark County’s largest outpatient health care system.

• Ron Pederson, owner of Hazel Dell Book Exchange and Rare Coins, along with Larry Pruitt of Northwest Investments at Stockford Village, reached agreement on a new three-year lease. The business is at 9901 N.E. Seventh Ave., Suite C-130 in Vancouver.
