Battle Ground — Firm Foundation Christian School students saw the first piece of the school’s new technology program implemented earlier this month with the introduction of the Chromebook cart, which holds 30 computers that can be reserved by any teacher. The school’s board of directors decided to prioritize the incorporation of technology at the school, including hiring a technology learning director and creating a technology plan. The plan defines the school’s technology needs and goals, one of which is to design a one-to-one Chromebook program. The school is seeking grant funding to advance the technology program, in hopes that all high school students can have their own Chromebooks and the school can have additional Chromebook carts to use with younger students.
