Letter: Easier port races

By Richard Hamby, Washougal
Published: October 18, 2017, 6:00am

Voters in the Port of Camas-Washougal district have two easy choices on the ballot this year. Commissioners Larry Keister and John Spencer, key members of a great team, seek to retain their positions.

Our port provides good local jobs, a marina and launch ramp, Grove Field airport and several parks along the Columbia River waterfront.

The port has encouraged a more cooperative spirit in our community.

There are plans for development along the Washougal Waterfront Park with the community’s best future in mind.

Vote to keep a good thing going. Vote for Spencer and Keister for Camas-Washougal port commissioners.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
