Free Clinic receives grant for diabetes program

Bagley Downs — The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington received a $2,500 grant from the ReMax Equity Group Foundation to care for uninsured patients living with diabetes. The clinic will use the money to purchase insulin to support its diabetes program, under which volunteers and community partners offer education, stabilization and comprehensive care to people with diabetes. The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington provides free health care to children and adults who are otherwise unable to obtain such services.
