Letter: Vote Christiansen to school board

By Erin Friesen, VANCOUVER
Published: October 28, 2017, 6:00am

My family is voting for Heather Christiansen for Vancouver Public Schools’ board, Position 3. Christiansen brings a wide range of skills to the table for this position. She is a highly effective team player who will work closely with the board to continue toward its current goals for the future of education and will use her experience in innovation to help navigate the way toward new goals. Christiansen has a student in Vancouver schools and knows the challenges students face and the strengths they possess. Christiansen believes in public education, and she is dedicated to serving all children.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
