Hoping to click with the community, Clark County-based tech companies announced they will participate in an Oregon-wide tech event next week.

Tech Tours, an annual event by the Technology Association of Oregon, will come to Vancouver on Sept. 19, introducing local companies such as Perfect Company and RealWear with prospective employees.

The event will highlight 16 companies and runs 4 to 7 p.m. at 13 different restaurants, breweries and company offices. It will kick off at The Bridge Incubator, 800 C St.

Workforce Southwest Washington and VanTechy, as well as Technology Association of Oregon and The Bridge Incubator are sponsors.

Tickets cost $10 for general admission and $5 for students. For more information, visit techoregon.org/events/2017-tao-tech-tours.
