BEAVERTON, Ore. — Beaverton police say a 92-year-old woman has been killed after the car she was a passenger in flipped in a senior center parking lot.

The Oregonian/OregonLive reports Phyllis Wolfsehr died at the scene on Wednesday.

Beaverton police spokesman Officer Mike Rowe says a 94-year-old woman was driving when she lost control of the car. Rowe says she backed into a car, hit a tree head-on, and then hit another parked car as her car accelerated — causing the vehicle to flip over.

The driver and an occupant in the last hit parked car were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
