The Associated General Contractors Oregon-Columbia Chapter has gifted $10,000 to the Clark College Foundation to train tomorrow’s construction workforce.

The donation is earmarked for Clark College’s “Professional Edge for Construction” program that recruits and trains high school graduates to be ready to step into the construction industry.

Twelve total donations were doled out, totaling $230,000. Eleven of those donations went to Oregon-based programs.

“It is estimated that over 2,000 individuals will be directly impacted by these grants through the various programs,” the organization said.
