Public comment sought on draft Washington Transportation Plan

OLYMPIA — The Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on its 20-year plan for the state’s transportation system.

The Washington Transportation Plan Phase 2 — Implementation establishes how the state can be prepared for climate change and changing technology.

The document is available for public examination. A comment period is open from now until Nov. 6.

The plan and a comment form are available at washtransplan.com, by request over the phone at 206-464-1261, or by written request at Washington State Department of Transportation, Multimodal Planning Division, 401 Second Ave., Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98104.
