Vancouver – The Washington State Department of Agriculture is warning people not to drink a brand of organic raw milk sold at four Clark County stores after tests detected salmonella.
Routine sampling by the department of agriculture found salmonella in bottled organic raw milk collected from the Pride & Joy Dairy in Toppenish. The product has a best-by date of Oct. 4.
The company sells its products in pint, quart, half-gallon and gallon plastic containers. The public health notice includes all container sizes.
The milk is sold in four local stores: Arnada Naturals, Chuck’s Produce (two locations) in Vancouver and Battle Ground Produce.
