March exited like a lamb Saturday with sunshine and temperatures resting at around 60 degrees.

Today clouds will increase with light rain later in the day. That will lead into scattered showers Monday and a dry day Tuesday. The rest of the week appears to be unsettled.

As promised, let’s review some rainfall from your neighbors for February. Claudia Chiasson, Carson, 8.72 inches; Rob Starr, Cougar, 11.43 inches; Robin Ruzek, Lake Shore, 2.39 inches; Ellen Smart, Ridgefield, 4.3 inches; Jim Knoll, Five Corners, 3.64 inches; Judy Darke, Felida, 2.62 inches; Murphy Dennis on Rawson Road near Clark County Rifles, 5.07 inches; Larry Lebsack, Hazel Dell, 3.35 inches; Pete Conrad, Tukes Mountain, 4.41 inches; Chuck Houghten, Hockinson Heights, 6.07 inches; Phil Delany, above Dole Valley, 8.8 inches; and Bill Sobolewski, Livingston Mountain, 6.74 inches. Our friend Roland Derksen from Vancouver, British Columbia, 5.33 inches. The official rainfall for our Vancouver was 1.77 inches, 2.26 inches below average.

Snow amounts were 24.5 inches from Delany, Houghten, 10 inches, Sobolewski, 20.25 inches, Dennis, 18.5 inches, Chiasson, 6.75 inches, 7 inches in Vancouver and from Derksen in Vancouver British Columbia, 11.37 inches.

I am looking for observers in areas other than those listed above in Clark County. We will be collecting March rainfall. Drop me a line at ptimmwriter@gmail.com.

I hope you have a joyous Easter Sunday.
