A two-vehicle crash in Battle Ground shortly after 9 a.m. blocked the northbound lane of Northeast 72nd Avenue, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Responders said they temporarily closed down most of the intersection at Northeast 72nd Avenue and 239th Street, according to the scanner traffic.

Everyone involved in the crash were still inside their vehicles when an ambulance arrived.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Brent Waddell said in an email that one person was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

No impairment was detected for any of the people involved, Waddell said.

Drivers were delayed for a short time, but the wrecked vehicles were moved off the road before tow trucks arrived, Waddell said.
