Ridgefield student wins state Poetry Out Loud contest

Cedar Tree student advances to national Poetry Out Loud competition

Ridgefield — Cedar Tree Classical Christian School senior Isaac Lu won the Poetry Out Loud competition for Washington. He received $200 and an all-expenses-paid trip to represent the state at the Poetry Out Loud finals in Washington, D.C. Lu was one of two local representatives to head to the state competition last month in Tacoma. The national finals are this week. Cedar Tree is a K-12 classical Christian school in Ridgefield.
