Letter: Support Long for Congress

I support Carolyn Long for Congress for many reasons, but one I want to emphasize is her belief that it’s time to stop playing politics with people’s health care. Like millions of Americans, I have a pre-existing condition (congenital heart defect). I know how expensive surgeries, specialist visits and medication can be. No one should have to split pills to make medication last longer or skip a follow-up visit because they can’t afford it. Long will stand up for people’s right to have health care by supporting the Affordable Care Act and efforts to improve it. It’s time to put people over politics and elect Carolyn Long.
