I rocked on as I read Opinion Editor Greg Jayne’s “Music has the power to bring us together” (July 29, The Columbian). I’ve been in full agreement, for 46 years, ever since the Doobie Brothers recommended, in 1972, that I “Listen to the Music.” And then, in 1989, when they informed me that “Music is the Doctor.” “Music is the doctor, of my soul!” So, get out your turntable, iPod or phone, and listen to the doctor! Ah, the power of music!
