2018 Excellence Award honorees announced

VANCOUVER — Local organizations will be honored at an award ceremony at the Heathman Lodge on Sept. 13, Nonprofit Network Southwest Washington announced Thursday.

The 2018 Excellence Award honorees are:

• The Free Clinic, Excellence in Impact.

• Windhaven Therapeutic Riding, Excellence in Impact as a Grassroots Organization.

• Trauma Intervention Program, honorable mention for Leadership in Impact.

• YWCA Sexual Assault Program and Clark County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Branch, Excellence in Collaboration.

• Honorable mentions for Leadership in Collaboration go to the Southwest Washington Accessible Transportation Coalitions and the Housing Stability Fund (a partnership of the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools, Council for the Homeless, Cascade Presbyterian Church and Evergreen School District Foundation).

• Innovative Services NW’s board, Excellence in Governance.

• Assistance League Southwest Washington, Excellence in Volunteer Program.

• Honorable mentions go to Bloodworks Northwest and the Mount St. Helens Institute.

• Realvest Corp., Excellence in Community Support.

• KMR Group Foundation receives special recognition for its dedication to community causes, first through its business and then through its foundation.
