Fort Vancouver Regional Library hosts teen writing workshops

The Fort Vancouver Regional Library will host a series of writing workshops for teens at branches throughout the district.

The topics, dates and locations are:

• How to Write Action and Fight Scenes: 10 to 11:30 a.m., Sept. 8, Battle Ground Community Library, 1207 S.E. Eighth Way, Battle Ground.

• Discover the Story Idea Only You Can Write: 1 to 2:30 p.m., Sept. 8, Three Creeks Community Library, 800 N.E. Tenney Road, Vancouver.

• How to Write Action and Fight Scenes: 2 to 4:30 p.m., Sept. 8, Three Creeks Community Library, 800 N.E. Tenney Road, Vancouver.

• Let’s Get Real: 2 to 4 p.m., Sept. 12, White Salmon Valley Community Library, 77 N.E. Wauna Ave., White Salmon.

• Author Q&A with Sara Ryan: 2:30 to 4 p.m., Sept. 15, Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver.

• Let’s Talk About Dialogue: 5 to 6:30 p.m., Sept. 18, Cascade Park Community Library

• Create Comic the Lowriders in Space Way!: 2:30 to 4 p.m., Sept. 22, Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver.
