Letter: Fees at county parks pay dividends

I found the article about parking fees charged at our county parks interesting (“All politics is local” Aug. 19). A few years ago, and several months after the fees were removed, I took a first-aid class with several park maintenance workers and they all told me that vandalism and littering increased dramatically after the fees were removed. I wonder what “polls” Clark County Councilor Eileen Quiring was referring to?
