Girls basketball: Jesuit 57, Camas 27

Jesuit scored 16 unanswered to start the game, which proved insurmountable for the Papermakers.

“Jesuit played a physical man defense and jumped out to a 16-0 lead,” Camas coach Scott Thompson said. “We never recovered.”

Camas outscored the Crusaders 8-6 in the second quarter, but couldn’t turn its scoring on. No player scored in double figures.

Jesuit was led by Savannah Corradini’s 16 points.
