VANCOUVER — Starting in January, regular Port of Vancouver commission meetings will be held earlier in the morning, with the goal of making the meeting process more accessible to the community. The change was made in response to public feedback.

The board of commissioners unanimously voted to approve the time change at its meeting on Tuesday, shifting the regular start time from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Commission meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in the Commission Room at the port’s administrative office at 3103 Northwest Lower River Road, Vancouver. The meetings are also broadcast on Clark/Vancouver Television channels 21 and 23, and online at cvtv.org.

The commission’s next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 8.
