Boys basketball: Battle Ground 69, W.F. West 62

Balanced scoring from four guards helped the Tigers hold off visiting W.F. West in a non-league game.

Brendan Beall had a team-high 18 points for Battle Ground (6-2), with Nathan Millspaugh adding 15 points, Colin Bartin 12 and Vincent McCormic 10.

“We were undersized all night,” Tigers coach Manny Melo said. “But we shot the ball great.”

The Tigers had 11 3-pointers, four by Beall.
