Letter: Kudos to random kindness

By Katie Albrici, Vancouver

I seldom do things like this, but today I feel compelled to write and comment on the piece by John Rogers about the priest “Father Jim Sichko” and the random acts of kindness (“Priest ‘shocks’ with random acts of kindness,” Dec. 15, The Columbian). What a beautiful thing to read about in this season of goodwill. It was so uplifting, and made me feel better about all the disheartening things that are happening in our world and country today. If only our leaders in D.C. would feel a little more of this, wouldn’t we all be a lot better off. Merry Christmas to all employees of The Columbian!
