The Storm survived a fourth-quarter rally by Enumclaw in the 4A bi-district playoff game at Capital High School to advance to the double-elimination bracket.
Skyview (9-12) led 43-22 going into the fourth where Enumclaw’s Jessica Cerne scored 14 of her game-high 25 points to bring the Hornets within striking distance.
“She was hitting everything,” Skyview coach Brett Johnson said. “But we hung in there.”
Skyview never gave up the lead as Kazee Parks led the Storm in scoring with 14 points. Nicole Christensen had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Maddie Hendricks had 10 points and seven rebounds.
“I was proud of the way we came out of the gate ready to play,” Johnson said. “Now its a new story as we get ready for Bellarmine.”
