Brush Prairie — The Master Gardeners Foundation of Clark County board approved $35,000 in grant requests for 2018. The grants will support local horticulture education activities. The foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to fundraising efforts to help support the Washington State University Extension Master Gardener Program and promote research-based horticulture practices with hands-on education and demonstrations. Money for the grants comes primarily from the foundation’s annual Mother’s Day Weekend Plant Sale. This year’s sale will be held May 12 and 13.
