Ridgefield — Two View Ridge Middle School teams competed in a For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Lego League Robotics contest in Olympia. At league competitions, teams of students in grades 4-8 design, build and program a robot and complete challenges with it. This year, teams also had to develop a solution to a real world problem by collaborating with community members and researching solutions. The two teams, The Squishies and The RoboRebels, are coached by Raechel Cowell, View Ridge English and history teacher.
