Vancouver police are pursuing the suspect of a Monday morning bank robbery at Wells Fargo at 1800 Main St., according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

The robbery happened just before 9:30 a.m., according to emergency dispatcher logs.

Police responded to the bank and began searching for the suspect, who allegedly jumped a counter during the robbery armed with a firearm or knife, according to scanner traffic.

Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said officers were unable to locate the suspect.
