• Vancouver-based nonprofit Innovative Services has selected two new members of its organizational leadership.

Dena Strong, president and chief operating officer. Strong is the former vice president of client services and replaces Launda Carroll who is retiring after more than 33 years with the organization.

Melissa Jaacks joins Innovative as vice president of operations. Jaacks began her career at Microsoft and has worked for branding and advertising agencies for the last 13 years.

• Impactful People NW has selected the organization’s 2017 Impactful People of the Year: Ian Manheimer, owner of VIP Photo Booth and Bounce-n-Battle, and Lisa Houser, owner of Utopia Salon and Day Spa. The awards honor individuals in Vancouver and Portland who make a positive impact in their community and who have a reputation for helping others.

New business

• HAPO Community Credit Union will hold a grand opening celebration March 28 at its office at 13909 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The branch will be the credit union’s first in Southwest Washington, its others located primarily in Central and Eastern Washington. Dawn Magnotta will serve as the Vancouver branch’s manager.
