One year and one day after the Women’s March of 2017 that brought more than 5 million people together worldwide, Vancouver will host a remembrance event called One Year Later.

The Jan. 21 event is organized by SW Washington Coalition Action Network, which formed after the 2017 Women’s March.

The event is an opportunity for local activists to “reconnect and recharge,” according to a press release. ROAR Fierce Female Storytelling will also be on-site to share three stories of challenge and empowerment.

One Year Later is from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Vancouver Water Resources Education Center. Tickets are $5 and available at eventbrite.com.
